Description :	Par comparaison avec un objet de Samoreau, il pourrait s'agir d'une ancienne exposition remontée en bâton de procession. La statuette d'origine a disparu ; il devait s'agir d'une statuette de la Vierge.

Historique :	Dans l'inventaire des biens de la fabrique de Germigny-l'Evêque de 1906, qui fait suite à la séparation de l'Eglise et de l'Etat, un "bâton de la Vierge" est mentionné avec l'autel dédié à la Vierge : peut-être s'agit-il du même bâton. D'autre part, l'église paroissiale Saint-Pierre de Samoreau renferme une exposition (PM77002752 ) très identique à ce bâton de procession, en plus des quatre palmes soutenant la couronne surmontée du globe et du crucifix, une gloire rayonnante forme le fond de l'exposition.
