Historique :	Comme le montre le cliché du pré-inventaire, ce groupe est tout ce qui subsiste d'un bâton de procession. La hampe a disparu, mais le dais abritant le groupe sculpté était encore visible dans les années 1970 (cf. cliché pré-inventaire), il était soutenu par quatre colonnettes ouvragées. En 2009,la statuette a été retrouvée dans un placard de la sacristie ; elle a été restaurée et redorée en 2010 et a bénéficié d'une nouvelle présentation sécurisée sur l'autel. Cette statuette devait être portée en procession lors de la fête de sainte Anne, très honorée à Baby, comme en témoignent les nombreux objets qui lui sont dédiés.
