Historique :	Ce tableau provient de la succession Bourgeois : la première mention le concernant remonte à novembre 1883 lors de l'inventaire de la maison de Louis-Amédée Bourgeois. Il a été donné à la commune en 1972 par son arrière-petit-fils, Maurice Bourgeois. Les bateaux concernés par ces chantiers étaient les "flûtes de l'Ourcq", de 90 pieds sur 13. Le chantier représenté était situé à Mary-sur-Marne, près du confluent de la Marne et de l'Ourcq. Il fut transféré à Lizy-sur-Ourcq, sur le canal vers 1850 et y exista jusqu'en 1950, date à laquelle les chantiers furent détruits.
