Historique :	Toile provenant du château de Rentilly donnée en 1819 par Isaac Thuret. Il s'agit d'une copie d'après un original italien (1519) de Sebastiano Del Piombo conservé au Louvre, il existe une autre copie à Jaulnes, datée de 1580 (PM77002994). La toile a été remise dans le retable en 1986, auparavant, une copie des Pèlerins d'Emmaüs de Titien garnissait le retable majeur.
