Précision_sur la representation :	En habit de pèlerin (chapeau à coquille, bourdon et besace), saint Roch découvre sa cuisse pour y montrer un bubon de la peste dont il fut atteint. Un enfant à sa droite désigne ce bubon de peste dans un geste de bénédiction. A la gauche du saint, un chien assis, un morceau de pain dans la gueule, le regarde et sollicite son attention en grattant son manteau de sa patte droite. Il s'agit du chien qui, volant du pain à la table seigneuriale de son maître, aurait nourri saint Roch pestiféré durant son retrait au fond de la forêt.
