Description :	Les deux statues en pied, indépendantes, forment un groupe. Le bois est clair, tendre (tilleul ?).

Historique :	De par le canon étiré des statues et la posture légèrement déhanchée de sainte Anne, ce groupe s'inscrit dans l'esthétique maniériste de la seconde moitié du 16e siècle. Ce style perdure dans certaines régions jusqu'au milieu du 17e siècle. Sur le livre, la date de 1768 pourrait correspondre à celle de la polychromie. Le groupe dédié à sainte Anne est à mettre en relation avec les autres objets de l'église consacrés à la sainte. Cette iconographie de sainte Anne, très présente à Baby, démontre la persistance des pratiques populaires et religieuses locales.
