Historique :	Ce tableau de l'école française a été réalisé en 1636 pour le maître-autel de la chapelle Gauthier et il a été offert à la cathédrale en 1863 par la fabrique qui ne se trouvait pas en mesure d'assurer les frais de sa restauration. Jean Senelle est un peintre originaire de Meaux.
